Our Lord said, "The things which are impossible with men, are possible with God."( Luke 18:27) In the beginning of this same chapter He gave a parable that suggested that men ought always to pray and not to faint.
There can’t be any "fainting time," in our thoughts because while it may be impossible for us to remedy the situations we may face, God does the impossible. We need power to stand without fainting. The initiation of power is opening our minds and hearts to God and being receptive to His Presence, His Spirit, His Voice and His Will. There is no better place to open up to God than prayer.
Alfred Armand Montapert writes in his book Pray To Win,
"I don't understand the mystery of prayer any more than I understand the mystery of electricity and I am an Electrical Engineer. But I do know that man builds a generator that develops out of the magnetic field that marvelous power electricity. God made electricity and I believe the God who made a power to light our homes did not forget to make a power to light us our lives. God made Prayer Power to help His children along the way of life."
Pastor Samuel Evans reminded us that Prayer dictates our strength. He said.
Much prayer, much power. Little prayer, little power. No prayer, no power.
Think about this, if you are not praying, you are a liability for someone else. They have to pay your power bill.
When something is too hard, do not faint, pray about it.
Pray, Saints, Pray.
